Retro has been a part of the Arcade for over 20 years and has evolved with the decades into a must-visit shop in Dublin!

We have an established and expanding clientele, as well as regular musical and theatrical celebrities, including Imelda May, who owns much of our beautiful clothing. Some of our most popular labels are reproductions of 40's and 50's dresses, including 'Stop Staring', which we have stocked for 6 years now. These designs make for classy yet sassy dresses, with the added advantage of the comfort of modern material, in a figure hugging wiggle dress- hot! Also permanently in stock are a fantastic range of 50's style swing dresses,as well as tulle underskirts in a kaleidoscope of colours.

We have a wide range corsets and underbusts, which are popular with burlesque performers and those who like something a little different.

Other staples include skirts; both pencil and swing, alternative babygrows and baby tee shirts, a selection of gothic lolita style clothing, skinny jeans and great tee shirts, footwear including brothel creepers, boots and shoes, as well as a great selection of mens' clothing-great 50's and western shirts, trousers and jackets. To top it all off we stock a wide range of accessories, from necklaces and belts to fascinators and frilly knickers! There is so much in our shop that we generally only have a small range of the sizes on display; even so, how do we fit it all in??
