All prices in both Capel street and Georges Street Arcade have been reduced to try to remain competitive in the times we find ourselves in. The shop has a wide variety of stock with a mix of antique, second hand and reproduction.
FURNITURE: There is a wide selection of furniture, Sideboards, wardrobes, beds, chairs, night tables, leather chesterfields 1950's 1960's 1970's still in good condition, chest of drawers, trunks or chests, desks, occasional tables, coal boxes and lockers, French reproduction and originals, consol tables, cabinets and bookshelves.
CHANDELIERS: There is usually a full range of chandeliers from 150Eur to 14,000Eur and all in between. The best sellers used to be the price range from 400Eur to 1,200Eur but I am finding that people are wanting and asking me to get more expensive chandeliers.
LAMPS: There are a wide variety of lamps in the shop sometimes including 1960's retro lights. These include tiffany style, ceramic with brass mounts, old French lamps that were exported to America and now to Ireland.
CARPETS AND RUGS: Mainly hand knotted Persian, Turkish and Pakistan. There are some machine made rugs mainly Belgian good quality but not so expensive.
GARDEN FURNITURE: mainly cast iron including garden pots, benches and chairs, urns, fountains, marble statues, Chinese marble lions, large street lamps, Iron statues, wall lights, patio tables and chairs water pumps and bird baths.
PAINTINGS: There are good selections of paintings new and old. These are also something that I think is good value at the moment but I have noticed that the European paintings are going up in value quickly, at least the ones I used to buy. There are also a range of reproduction paintings.
ORNAMENTAL AND UNUSUAL: Buddha figures, bronze dragons and statues, ceramics, antique marine, silver jewelry, marble top wash hand basins with painted white cabin ate, pillars marble and cast, silver wine cooler, Betty boop figures,
STOVES: I get some European stoves in but they are not so common and tend to sell as soon as they are brought in. |
