I studied art in London and Paris although most of my techniques I use today are self taught including the use of watercolour applied in the manner of oils to give a realistic approach to foliage etc., Watercolour is my predominant medium although I am happy producing oils which will be featured on this web site in the near future..
I have a successful gallery in the centre of Dublin, Ireland where current works can be viewed in a friendly environment.
Whilst I sell a lot of paintings from this location 90% of my custom comes from commissions and I am always delighted to discuss any project. Clients can ask me to travel to any scene anywhere in Ireland to prepare the work on location or can send a photograph. (email or snail mail).
Should you wish to commission a piece I will send a small pastel by email ( as an example of how the completed work would look) at no cost to you . and if the artwork is to your satisfaction we can then discuss the size, frame and mounts etc., The price, excluding any travel and freight, is around 300 euros for a 560mm X 450mm (frame guideline)

I am always aware of the price factor and am able to keep the figure down as I derive great joy from my work which I perceive as a pleasure rather than an onerous task!
Contact details can be found under. I look forward to hearing from you where-ever you reside in the word.
